What we're about
Graig Fatha Co-op holds a majority shareholding in the wind turbine at Graig Fatha, just outside Tonyrefail, Rhondda Cynon Taf in south Wales. The turbine became operational in March 2022 producing clean energy.
Each of our members has not only secured an assured source of green energy, but also receives savings on their electricity bills through our partners Octopus and Co-op Energy. This was doubly welcome during the energy pricing surge at the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. We achieve more stable prices for our members.
